Vendors and Sponsors
What permits/licensing is required for my participation?
- Vendors must have and be able to present a Food Protection Certificate (FPC) issued by the State of New York Health Department or equivalent jurisdiction.
- Vendors must have and be able to present a Food Service Establishment (FSE) or a mobile vending unit with a valid DOHMH. If the vendor has a Mobile Vending Unit permit, it must be operable in the borough of Manhattan.
- If a local vendor does not have a valid FSE or mobile vending unit permit, then a Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit must be obtained at the Citywide Licensing Centre, located at 42 Broadway NY, NY 10004. They are open from Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
- If an out-of-state or international vendor does not have a valid FSE or mobile vending unit permit, then the Event Sponsor must be notified so that the TFSE can be obtained. The TFSE permit costs $70.00 per Vendor. For vendors who sell frozen desserts, the TFSE permit costs $95.00.
