Festival Survival Guide

We want you to enjoy the first Miami Vegandale Food Drink Festival to the best of your ability so we've put together some festival tips and tricks to keep you having a good time all day long!

Site Map

We have included a Site Map with a complete list of vendors. We suggest saving this map to your phone for the festival. This will ensure you know where everything is in the palm of your hand! We will also have maps located around the park. Take note of where our entrance is located. We will have access to the beach as well so pack your beach gear!

Expect Lines

You’re heading to a food festival! Everyone will be coming to experience the food, so please expect to wait in some lines. Our vendors will be doing their very best to serve their food as fast as possible. While you're waiting, grab a beer, join the queue, and enjoy meeting your fellow vegans. Arrive hungry, and we promise to make it worth the wait!

Sharing is Caring

Some vendors will be serving full portion sizes. If you want to be able to try everything, we suggest splitting your portions with friends! For example, a burger can be cut into at least 4 portions. We suggest sharing items like this if you’re interested in trying a little bit of everything at the fest!

Grab a drink

Pop by our two bar locations for a cold one! We'll be serving up an array of drink options alcholic and non-alcoholic as well to quench your thirst all day and keep the party going!

Social Media

Between our new art installations, sassy lawn signs, food, drinks and an all around good time, the Instagram opportunities will be endless! Don't forget to use #Vegandale on all of your posts and tag us on Instagram and Facebook - @vegandalefestival. We want to see how you #experienceveganism with us!

This year, we have more entertainment than ever so be sure to get in on the action! We'll have tons of photo opportunities with our revamped art installations, a variety of lawn games and a bumpin' volleyball court. John Lewis, AKA @badassvegan will be hosting with DJ L spinning live. Join in on the dancing and contests at the stage for a goooood time!

Bring Cash

If you have friends who haven't bought their ticket, they'll have to pay the admission fee at the door, pending availability. We advise everyone to purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Most vendors will be accepting cash only, so bring lots of it. We will have ATMs on site if you run out!

Stay Hydrated

We will have re-fillable water stations available at the festival, so bring your reusable bottle to fill up! We will also have water for sale at the bar among alcoholic and non-acoholic beverages as well.

As much as we love four legged friends - they are not allowed at our Miami festival. Unfortunately, the park does not permit pets on park property as per city ordinance.

First come first serve paid parking is available on site at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, 4020 Virginia Beach Drive.

Sun Protection/Weather Lookout

Remember suncreen, sunglasses and a hat to protect you from the sun!  Be prepared to beat the heat, as you'll be outside all day! Keep an eye on the weather as we get to fest day - Saturday July 13th - as our event will go on rain or shine!

Be Practical!

We know you want to look great for festival pics, but portapotties do not favour rompers very well. Be sure to wear shoes that won't make your feet hurt after too long, so you can enjoy everything the fest has to offer! Fanny packs are super easy for storing cash to access quickly, or a backpack to keep you hands-free for food and drinks. And don't forget to pack a picnic blanket so you can enjoy on the grass anywhere on the field.

Keep these tips in mind to help you have the best festival experience at #Vegandale Miami! Can't wait to see your videos and pics!
