What permits/licensing is required for my participation?
All food/drink vendors are required to provide either the Summer Festival Sanitation Certificate OR a Food Handlers certificate. Please note: There is a minimum 3 week processing time for Summer Festival Sanitation Certificates.
Vendors selling merchandise (apparel, jewelry, etc.) are required to pay a $25 fee to obtain a Pop-Up Retail User Permit and will need to provide us your Illinois Business Tax Number and address.
*Please note: If you do not have an Illinois Business Tax (IBT) Number, you must contact the Illinois Department of Revenue at 217-785-3707 to apply. Please reference the IDOR website for more information here.
